At our core, YCCM serves as a hub for changemakers—those actively working within their communities across fields such as politics, social impact, research, advocacy, technology, and more. We are not just a network; we are a movement dedicated to empowering young people and ensuring their contributions are seen, heard, and valued across all sectors, including government.

Our Approach: The 3 Pillars of YCCM
Umbrella for Changemakers
YCCM functions as a unifying body that supports and protects the interests of young changemakers across Canada. We bring together individuals already making impact in their communities, providing them with a space to connect, share ideas, and grow. As we expand, we are building stronger systems and platforms to better connect and support our members nationwide.
The Tribe Symposium & Annual Awards
We create opportunities for meaningful engagement through our annual symposium, where changemakers come together to collaborate, learn, and inspire one another. In addition, we recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions through our annual awards, honoring individuals who exemplify leadership and impact within the community.
Policy and Advocacy
YCCM is committed to influencing meaningful change by advocating for policies that support youth and changemakers across Canada. We work to ensure that young voices are represented in decision-making spaces and that their needs and contributions are recognized at all levels.
