About the Award
This prestigious award celebrates one young leader aged 15–39 who exemplifies innovative leadership, passion for social change, and a commitment to building a better future. Whether in environment, education, health, arts, or technology, these changemakers are driving meaningful transformation across Canada.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Young Change-Makers (YCA) Award, nominees must:

• Be aged 15–39 as of September 26th, 2026
• Reside in Canada
• Demonstrate impactful leadership in creating positive social change
• Showcase contributions in any field of community betterment, including environment, health, arts, technology, and more

Nomination Process
Nominations are open to everyone! Whether you’re a peer, community member, educator, or organization, you can nominate an inspiring young leader. Self-nominations are also welcome.

The selection committee will evaluate nominees based on four key pillars:

Innovation: Unique and forward-thinking approaches to challenges

Impact: Tangible results and benefits to the community

Leadership: Exemplary ability to inspire and guide others

Growth Potential: Vision and ability to sustain and expand their contributions.

What Winners Receive
