Kimora Lee, B.A. (Hons) Criminology (York University), Paralegal (Oakland University), is a dedicated legal professional specializing in family law and intimate partner violence for women and children, working towards becoming a family/criminal lawyer. She is also a youth leader, mentor, researcher, published author, and founder of Youth Unlocked, a nonprofit supporting marginalized and justice-involved youth through mentorship, education, and advocacy. Kimora teaches Environmental Law to high school students, equipping youth with an understanding of legal systems, environmental justice, and civic responsibility. Her work centers on prison reform, HIV in prison populations, police brutality, and systemic gender-based violence. She authored “The System Fails: Police Brutality and Its Unseen Victims”, examining the emotional and social impacts of state violence Through her advocacy, Kimora uplifts Black and Indigenous youth, working to dismantle systemic barriers and advance equity. She empowers young girls to lead with confidence, resilience, and purpose. Ensuring that young girls grow up knowing their voices matter, their futures are limitless, and their leadership is essential to building a more just and compassionate society.
