About the Award
This prestigious award celebrates young leaders aged 15–39 who exemplify innovative leadership, passion for social change, and a commitment to building a better future. Whether in environment, education, health, arts, or technology, these changemakers are driving meaningful transformation across Canada.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Young Change-Makers (YCA) Award, nominees must:

Be aged 15–39 as of October 25th, 2025

Reside in Canada

Demonstrate impactful leadership in creating positive social change

Showcase contributions in any field of community betterment, including environment, health, arts, technology, and more

Nomination Process
Nominations are open to everyone! Whether you’re a peer, community member, educator, or organization, you can nominate an inspiring young leader. Self-nominations are also welcome.

The selection committee will evaluate nominees based on four key pillars:

Innovation: Unique and forward-thinking approaches to challenges

Impact: Tangible results and benefits to the community

Leadership: Exemplary ability to inspire and guide others

Growth Potential: Vision and ability to sustain and expand their contributions.
